How do I automatically create a workitem from a build? Is this even possible?

JAZZ DEVELOPER
The only way to do this currently is through the Java client API.
Could you clarify what your use case is? It may make sense to provide this capability via an Ant task. If so, please file an enhancement request against RTC/Build.

An Ant task would be good especially if one wants to raise a defect or any other kind of workitem as a result of a build. Further, the other Use Case I could about would be related to auto populating a series of workitems and relate them to an iteration. Currently, although RTC allows for start up tasks, those are fairly limited.

Sounds like a good idea. Could you please file an enhancement request?
