Creating dependencies b/w 2 different types of Work Items

 Hi,
I would like to understand the possibilities of establishing a conditional dependency on the 2 types of Work items...(say between a 'Design task' & a 'Design Review Task')...User shouldn't be allowed to start work on the 'Design review Task' unless the 'Design Task' is in complete state....I think this can be customized using RTC Client...Tried doing some R & D...Any articles links / steps for establishing this conditional linkage will be useful...

Thanks,
Guru

 Hi,

This kind of relationship: Task execution -> Task review can be easily implemented using the Approval feature (a native feature).

Some interesting references:

Hi Tiago,

Thanks for your input. That was bit relevant. I have little more to add onto it...As per my requirement, after a Task moves to completed state, a Reviewer will review the Task & he needs to 'Log' his Comments. If there are no comments, then the Task can be closed, else the team member should start acting on the comment (Accept / Reject ) & implement the comment...Again the changes will be sent for Review. This process will continue..

Can this be configured in RTC or can this be customized?

Thanks,

Guru
