How to record automated test script (RFT) using RQM's Manual script recorder button.

We are just wondering if we can also record automated script using RQM's Manual script icon (red color) . Currently we are using it to record manual script in RQM but we feel its an duplicate effort to record manual and automated script seprately.
Is there a way we can convert manual English steps recorded in RQM to RFT Java script.

Currently, there is no built it way to convert a Manual Test Script (Created with the Rational Functional Tester recorder) to a standard RFT java script.
