RTC Windows Shell: Basic Mode error

For RTC 5.0.2 I am using RTC Windows Shell. In Basic Mode, Create work Area. I am trying to follow the steps documented in RTC Infocenter. For Source Control Configuration Page Infocenter states as follows:
On the Source Control Configuration page, click Select File Path and specify the SCM configuration file, or paste the URI for the team’s stream

I need to know how to obtain URI for team's stream. I tried using URI to connect to RTC Web and it gives error below. Any help is much appreciated, Thanks !

Exception type:
com.ibm.team.repository.TeamRepositoryException
Exception message:
invalid UUID
Status code:
500
Remote exception type:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException
Request URI:
http://localhost:49273/service/com.ibm.team.filesystem.client.rest.IFilesystemRestClient

Thanks a lot Surya. Using the steps in the answer to forum question I generated configuration XML file. When I enter the full path to configuration file I was able to Create Work Area. Infocenter documentation to Create Work Area is not helpful !

Create Work Area in Basic mode downloads all the files checked in to the stream. I cannot find option not to download all files. Is there any way to download only selected files and not all the files ?

Thanks
NP

You can use load rules to partially load a component.

This article explains load rules - https://jazz.net/library/article/1015
