Why can't I comment on this forum's questions?

When I open a question somebody else asked in this forum I can see the 'Post my Answer' button, but not the 'Comment on This Question' link/button.

One of my colleagues can see the 'Comment on This Question' link, but if I log in in his browser with my account, the link goes away.

Is there a permission needed to be able to comment on questions?

Still having this problem. I can only comment on this question that I asked myself.
Note that I'm able to answer questions.
Seems to be a permissions issue.

I am having a similar issue. I also had this issue last week and a defect was submitted - https://jazz.net/jazz02/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/135375

I am able to use Chrome to respond to posts and answer questions though.

I am still having this problem. I can't comment on questions even on chrome.
Also the defect mentioned above does not seem to address my problem. (I can login and answer questions but I cannot Add comments to questions)

Gerardo, try to clean the history of your browser. I had to do that recently, because I was no longer able to log in. Otherwise open a defect, but it is likely something like that. Maybe try a different browser.

It didn't work
I've tried the following and the 'Comment on this question' link does not appear
1. Clear browser history, cookies and cache
2. Firefox, Firefox private browsing, IE, Chrome
3. Log in into a colleague's browser where he can see the link and the link goes away.
It's interesting though that I can see that link for this question and for this question only (the one I created).

So I still need help, Is there a contact for support?

Thank you Surya, Could you change this comment to Answer?
Also I don't have permissions to see the work item, does it have a target date?

 ok, done.Thanks.

The problem is sporadic in nature. I am not sure about a target date.
