Test Suite does not choose CLA script as default (first choice) before running

Leesen Padayachee (9955119) | asked Mar 24 '15, 3:36 a.m.
Hi

When running a test suite from the Test plan, A manual test suite ( with associated Test Case and Test Script) automatically chooses the linked script as default before running, but if you have an automated (in my case a CLA test script), when running the test suite, the default Test Script choice is first "None" and therefore you have to use the drop down and select the CLA script associated. This could prove quite frustrating especially for automation testers who use RQM to run the automation scripts. Please let me know if there is a work around to this?

Thanks

Leesen

Hi Leesen,

In the TestSuite you can set the default TestScript that you want to run everytime that TestCase is run. Open that TestSuite, click on the pencil icon of the TestScript column in the row having the desired TestCase and select the TestScript from dropdown list. Click on Save button this will set the default TestScript for that TestCase.
