Change in the link "track/contributes to" does not activate the "save work item" operation behavior
When i create a link type track/contributes to in a work item in Rational Team Concert and i only do this change in the work item, the plugins associated with the "save work item" operation behavior are not activated. I noticed that this started to happen from version 4.0.6. Does anyone know why this happen ? This link is used in cross-project plan. Is this behavior intencional ? |

Hi,
the way these types of links are implemented today, they don't trigger operational behavior. See my enhancement request. Please vote it up if you think it is important. There are reasons for this, I guess. It makes the assumptions and error handling easier, but I think it should be possible to trigger operational behavior and, in fact, prevent links from being created.
