CRJCA0003E The lifecycle project administration(LPA) application made a request that was answered by an unexpected response code.
After upgrading successfully from CLM v4.0.3 to v5.0, we tried to execute the JTS/Setup and receive the following error
CRJCA0003E The lifecycle project administration(LPA) application made a request that was answered by an unexpected response code. The request was:
https://server.XYZ.com/qm/service/com.ibm.team.repository.service.internal.discovery.IFriendsAdmin
The response was: HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error
Is there anything that was missed during the upgrade process here ?? Appreciate some inputs on this. Thanks in advance |

This appears to be the same issue as CRJCA0003E error while finalizing JTS setup (197873). However, this defect was fixed in CLM 4.0. Can you please open a PMR with the JTS and RQM logs? |
The error in CRJCA0003E error while finalizing JTS setup (197873). was tracked to a configuration with no friend entry for the RM server, even though it's listed as a registered application.
Does QM show up in the Incoming and Outgoing sections of the JTS admin UI?
That is, does QM show up correctly on these pages:
https://<host>:<port>/jts/admin#action=com.ibm.team.repository.admin.configureOAuth
https://<host::<port>/jts/admin#action=com.ibm.team.repository.admin.friends
