RRDI 5.0.2 - Request state history

Hi All,
I am looking to create Defect Aging report - showing the no.of days in a particular state for each defect. Used RRDI->Request state history. I noticed that the "days in state" value is not correct, looks like its calculated differently as per state history id order - but the actual state-flow of changes is different in RTC item itself.
There is only 1 state-change done after 8 days [*Say, state a->state b]. But it shows 4-5 change-entries with the value "8". State-flow is correct, but the ordering and calculation looks to be incorrect.
Please advise.
