Database move Oracle 10 32bit -> Oracle 11 64bit

Georg Kellner (840378109) | asked Feb 04 '15, 11:46 a.m.
Hi fellows,

has anyone of you made such a database move and can share some details regarding the steps to do on Oracle?
The general steps are clear:
- shut down the applications
- move the databases
- start the applications
- run /setup to change the db connections

What is the recommended way to do the db move?

Environment:
- JTS/RQM/CCM 4.0.6 on WIndows with WAS, active DWH
- current Oracle 10g on Suse Linux
- destination Oracle 11 R2 on Suse Linux

greetings georg.

Hi Georg,
From CLM perspective you need to rerun setup or change teamserver.properties. To migrate database it is better to ask Oracle support.
