Missing Iterations when customising burndown/burnup charts

Daniel Grant (823) | asked Jan 22 '15, 5:55 a.m.
 Hi Guys,

I have multiple iterations in my project.
When I go to the project dashboard and try to customise either a burndown or burnup report, I can only select from a subset of my iterations.
The list of iterations is missing about half even though the number of total iterations that i can select from (below the list) is accurate.

Has anybody encountered anything like this before? I am running RTC 4.0.6.

Usually this is due to
  • Not having team areas that work against the iterations
  • Not having work items planned for the iterations and the team areas
A lot of the charts require team areas - this is typically visible as team area is a parameter in that case.

 Thank for the answer Ralph,

In my case it is iterations without any assigned work items not showing.
I had assumed even empty iterations would be listed and would just load as an empty burndown/burnup chart.
