Is there a way to specify an URL for a flat file data source?
I created a report based on a flat file data source currently referencing a csv file on my local system. For production I want to have this csv file on a server URL.
How can I specify the URL as the folder path?

Hi Guenther,
RTC uses BIRT 2.6.2 which is old BIRT version. This version does not support flat datasource as url. There is plan item: https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Jazz%20Foundation#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=311044 to consider adopting Eclipse 4.4 or later on the server. You can subscribe to that to track the progress.
