This is the message i am geeting when i was trying to access my dashboard. Could anyone help me.

Hello,
500 Internal Server Error
means that you need to check QM and JTS log that will point you to your problem.
(I don't think re-indexing will help here)

I am new to RQM and i am the one training myself how to use RQM 5.0. So could you please explain the process how to check QM and JTS log if you could.

check your CLM or RQM installation directory.
you should find a log directory, where you'll find files like:
jts.log for the JTS server
qm.log for RQM

I suggest you review the application logs (in this case, jts.log and qm.log) for errors around the time of the problem. See if the applications start up with any errors and/or if any communication error in the logs. You can also try to re-index and see if it helps.
