What is the convention for removing a task from a sprint?

Jacob Plummer (1434) | asked Oct 30 '14, 12:56 p.m.
Tasks were added to the sprint that need to be removed but I fail to see a delete feature. If there is no delete feature what is the best practice for removing the task

Do you really want to remove them?

As Ralph mentioned, either reject them, or if that are still valid, that can be reassigned to another sprint.

You close them. You can delete tasks if you have JazzAdmin permissions and permission to delete, however usually items are not deleted, because even rejection documents a fact.

In addition, if the work item is not supposed to show up in this sprint, change "Planned For" attribute. This is one of the attributes that contribute to making items appear in a plan for that iteration.
