Jazz Team Server Report cant show the data

Hi, I have successfully created a birt report with csv as data.... I then go to rtc and create a report template to deploy the report. It can show the design of the report like the description which I type in the report, but not the data.

It says:
"ReportDesign (id=1):
+ Cannot open the connection for the driver: org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc
Cannot load JDBC Driver class: org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.sampledb.Driver"

Can someone please advise me how can I solve this problem? Cuz i need to show the data in jazz team server.

Thanks

Can you please tell me:
1. Which version of RTC you are using? (Specifically, which version is
running on your server)
2. Which data source type did you create in your BIRT report? (looks
like jdbc but you mention csv).

Thanks,

I'm using RTC 1.0.1.1... I used attach csv file to the data set and retrieve the data by dragging it to the table. How can I make it shown on jazz team server as well?

In 1.0.1.1, we did not support CSV data sets. I.e. the BIRT plugins
required to make this work were not deployed in the WAR on our server.
In 2.0 we have added these plug-ins to the server.

I have downloaded RTC 2.0 and I start the eclipse program. I created a new report and I created a:

data source: Flat File Data Source
data set: I type the data set name click next, there's a error stating
"An error has occurred. See error log for more details.
org/eclipse/datatools/connectivity/oda/flatfile/util/querytextutil/QueryTextUtil.getColumnsInfo(Ljava/lang/String;)LJava/Lang/String;

Please advise me. thanks

Can you open a defect with this information please, and assign it to the
Reports component? Also, can you please indicate in the defect whether
you are using 2.0 beta1, or 2.0 M3, or some other milestone? (2.0 final
is not released yet).

Thanks,

Hi james, I realised the RTC i'm using initially was RTC version 2.0. I created a new report template and attach the report and save it. And when I double click the report template, the description (text, labels) can appear but not the data (.csv files).

It states the same error:
"ReportDesign (id=1):
+ Cannot open the connection for the driver: org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc
Cannot load JDBC Driver class: org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.sampledb.Driver"

My RTC is version 2.0 meaning it can accept .csv file? Then why the data cant be shown? Please advise me.

What I mean is that we have not released RTC 2.0 yet. So you are running
one of our milestones, or one of our betas. What version, exactly, are
you using?

Sorry James, I didnt understood your qns. I've downloaded RTC 1.0.1.1 but when I starts RTC and when it's loading, I show the prompt with Version 2.0. So I guess I'm using 1.0.1.1?

If that's the case does it means RTC can support .csv file only when it is released? Sorry for being so blur

1.0.1.1 does not support csv, but in 2.0 we've added the necessary
plug-ins to the server to enable this. Can you try your scenario with
2.0beta2 and see if you have any problems?
