I lose my work items when I remove the states (subcolumns) header in the view of Taskboard in CCM.

Hi I have the following question:

In Change and Configuration Management of CLM version 5.0.1 (Jazz web) in the Plans of Sprint Backlog.
Under the view as Taskboard. If you display as a Taskboard or a Kanban board. You will get two Headers
1) State Groups = Columns and 2) States = Subcolumns.

It is possible to use the Column Display and remove the 2) States = Subcolumns. But
if you do that you will also "lose" the belonging work items and they will not be shown.

I still want to see them even though I remove the 2) States = Subcolumns and only keep the
1) State Groups = Columns. Is that possible in the CLM version 5.0.1 ? or is that something which will
need to be developed in a future upgraded version of CLM?

Hi Martin,

I think I provided a wrong answer on the issue. This should not be a enhancement but a product defect, which has been fixed in RTC 5.0.2. Please check defect 325997.

Sorry for the misleading.

 Hi Martin,
Per my understanding, if you uncheck a state in subcolumn, the state and work items in the state are hide in the Taskboard view.

If you search the jazz.net forum, you'll find many users asked to display Taskboard view by State. So the feature is added in RTC 5.0.1.
You can find the list of tasks which will be implemented from https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Rational%20Team%20Concert#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=284626

If you still expect the Taskboard view can be configured to show by state group like RTC 4.0.x versions, you may need to submit an enhancement request.

Hi Lily Wang I was told that was not the correct place to do an enhancement request. Therefore I have corrected a new request here ==>https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Jazz%20Collaborative%20ALM#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=333488

As the work item  284626 is in "Rational Team Concert" project area, I suggest you move your enhancement request 333488 to the "Rational Team Concert" project area, or create a new enhancement using URL https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Rational%20Team%20Concert#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.newWorkItem&type=enhancement&ts=14123146366870
