When I try to delete work items I keep hitting the error 'CRJAZ6053E The 'Delete Work Item' operation cannot be completed. Permission is required to complete the operation.

We have Change and Configuration Management version 4.0.6 installed on a web server.

Where Nick Edgar mention that: 'But the way it really works is that it checks either JazzAdmins (not "JazzAdmin") or JazzProjectAdmins roles.  Membership in the list of project admins for the project does not seem to be checked'.

Where Martin Aeschlimann mention that: 'You  needs to have the 'JazzAdmins' repository permissions and you must have a role that has the permission to delete a work item in the project area or team area of the work item.'

I have at the moment access level of JazzAdmins and JazzProjectAdmins but still I get the error information 'CRJAZ6053E The 'Delete Work Item' operation cannot be completed. Permission is required to complete the operation'.

'I'd suggest the following:Create a "RecycleBin" project area, and have normal users just move their junk work items to the RecycleBin project area'.

We have done so but we would very much like to delete junk work items but we are not allowed to do so.

The big question is why can we/I not delete any work items?
