Frequently getting the error "AUT is not responding"

While trying to record scripts using RFT v8.5.1, either my application(HTML) hangs ( i have to recover my webpage) or i am gettig the Error message "the AUT is not responding" restart the application, and if this message appears frequently do not record the same scenario"

what should i do? My application is thoroughly tested manually.
