Can RRDI Reports in RTC be exported in other formats?

I am aware of this article https://jazz.net/library/article/836 and am able to export RRDI reports to a number of different formats in RRDI. However, the question is, when custom reports are imported into RTC, the only export option available is PDF. Is this a limitation of the tool?

Hello Daniel,

I think you can only export from the RRDI Web UI.
Does the PDF export from CLM even work for you?
As far as I know that's only supposed to work with BIRT reports, with Cognos reports it generates a corrupted PDF file.

Hi Francesco, Yeah the PDF export option works fine (so far) for the custom RRDI reports I have imported in RTC. However, majority of users want xls format from RTC Web UI and not from the RRDI Web Ui. Do you know if there are plans to make this functionality available? How are the OOTB reports created, because they have these options available?

Hello Daniel, OOTB reports are created with BIRT. Change and configuration management predefined report descriptions http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0m4/topic/com.ibm.team.reports.doc/topics/r_report_templates_oob.html I'm not aware of any plan to allow the export to excel format from the RTC WebUI. My suggestion would be to open a Request for Enhancement (RFE) here: IBM RFE Community http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/ to request for this feature. Best Regards, Francesco Chiossi
