How can I edit a built-in attribute (Status) in work item type Defect in RTC

I want to add some more values in Status attribute of Defect Work Item type, How can I perform that please?

I am not asking about Custom Attributes creation, i want to edit an existing/built-in attribute

status is not really an 'attribute', it displays the current workitem state (or temporarily the pending Action) available at the time. to change these values you must edit the workflow for that workitem type. add another state, and action (to get to that state from the current state)
