I am not asking about Custom Attributes creation, i want to edit an existing/built-in attribute
status is not really an 'attribute', it displays the current workitem state (or temporarily the pending Action) available at the time. to change these values you must edit the workflow for that workitem type. add another state, and action (to get to that state from the current state)
