Top Work Item complexity based on Estimation field

Hi all,
I know that use time Estimation (hours format) as a way to establish the complexity of a work item in the backlog may not be a good agile practice, but:

Is there another limitation to not have the Estimation field as a possibility for complexity??

In our case the natural way to estimate the complexity of high level tasks is using a estimation based on hours of work.
Is possible to use time estimation on RTC to manage these high level work items??

Thanks!

Using estimates is currently not possible because we consider only
integer and enumeration attribute types and estimates are stored as
duration. As a workaround you can add a custom attribute of type integer
to estimate high-level tasks and use that attribute as complexity
attribute.
