WebSphere Unable to Query From Active Directory

Dwayne Brown (1045) | asked Jun 12 '14, 11:15 a.m.

Hello Community,

I am new to CLM 2012 and WebSphere v7.  I am trying to complete installation/configuration in WebSphere v7 for my new install of CLM 2012.  I have completed the

configuration under Security -> Global Security -> Standalone LDAP registry.  When I do a test it completes successfully. However, when I try to map groups under Applications -> WebSphere enterprise applications -> jts_war -> Security role to user/group mapping, I search for all available groups (wildcard *) and nothing is displayed.  What am I am missing and how do I resolve this query issue. I am querying to another server which is my Active Directory box.

-Thanks

I believe some configuration is not correct. Check step 4 in the below document.

You cannot copy those settings directly. Check with your network administration to find out what the "objectClass" should be. If you cannot see any groups from the LDAP, chances are the "group filter" is wrong.
