Not getting ETag when i make GET call

I re-tag your post as "doors" since you're using Rational DOORS, not DOORS Next Generation.
You have to be more specific on what URL you used for the GET call in order for others to understand what you were trying to do. Not all GET calls have an ETag in the response header. Try to GET an artifact and see if you still no get an ETag header.

If you are not getting favorite response here, you may try the developerWorks forum since it appears to be more active about this particular product.

I don't know how anyone has the patience to get past oauth in that Restclient. I've never managed it. Are you sure you are through? What do you get back? Have you set your headers - Content-Type:application/rdf+xml and oslc-core-version:2.0. You could also check the DWA server/festival/logs.
fyi, there is a sample client for DOORS 9 in the lyo project, and it takes care of oauth - http://wiki.eclipse.org/Lyo/BuildClient#DoorsOauthSample
