How can I expose the summary of a scheduled absence in a report

Hi,

I would like to expose the summary of a scheduled absence in a report. Is there any way to do that, yet?
I can only find ways to get the start/end date and of course the corresponding person, but not the type (=summary).

Thanks a lot!

Hi Mareike,

I don't think this is possible. According to our DW snapshot schema, these are the only properties available for Contributor_Absence

Contributor_Userid     String     The User ID of the contributor (e.g. jsmith)
Contributor_Name     String     The name of the contributor (e.g. "John Smith")
Contributor_Itemid     UUID     The UUID of the contributor
Contributor_Archived     Boolean     Whether or not the contributor is archived
Absence_Startdate     Timestamp     The beginning of the scheduled absence
Absence_Enddate     Timestamp     The end of the scheduled absence

Hi Alexandre, thanks for your answer - I already thought so, because I have read this question in so many forums and websites, but nobody could give hope :)
Since there are so many people asking for this, is there a chance this feature makes it into the product? Or is there any workaround I could try? Can I open a feature request somewhere? We really want to move to RTC for the whole project planning, but to do  this we need to be able to enter different types of absences and be able to see the differences in the report.
Thank you!

Hi Mareike,

I could not find any enhancement for this, but I encourage you to submit one.

You can do it by opening the Rational Team Concert project area and submit a new Enhancement work item .

Hi Ralf, thanks for your comment but this report is unfortunately not sufficient for what we are trying to achieve. We have different types of absences, which we'd like to display in the report and that's not possible with the current API.
