Acceptance Test tab in user stories

Hi,
I'd like to use this tab in user stories, unfortunately it isn't editable by default. I notice in the Process Configuration Permissions section there is a value called 'Modify the 'Acceptance Test' attribute' so I've tried to add this into the Editor Presentations definition for user stories, but a) that attribute isn't showing (even in new stories); b) I still can't edit the Acceptance Test panel.
How does this work? How do I add the attribute to the presentation of the user stories? Why isn't this in the documentation for RTC?
Thanks,
Kieron

Hello Kieron,
to be able to modify the Acceptance Test in Stories you need the permission.
In the Process Configuration go to Team Configuration - Permission
On the right side select the Role that should have the permisson.
In the list of Permitted actions go to Work Item - Save Work Item - Modify the Work Item - Modify the 'Acceptance Test' attribute. Make sure that this is selected. Save the Project.
Now users that have the selected Role should be able to modify the Acceptance Test.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. I had checked this before, and double checked again. Both my role (Project Manager) and the Everyone role have got permission to set the 'Acceptance Test' value. Partly that is what is causing my confusion. Also, having added the acceptance test enumeration to the user story presentation definition, it's not appearing in the user stories.

Hi,
The editor presentation for the actual Acceptance Test tab did have the presentation of the Acceptance Test section defined in that way, but when the stories were presented the tab didn't present the html box. We have another project on our server, so I went into that and created a story, and found that the acceptance test tab was correct and had the box for entering the html.
Therefore I concluded that some customisations that we have made to our XML must have somehow prevented the correct display of the html box, so I carefully copied all the references to acceptance test from the other project's XML into our main one, and removed extra references to the acceptancetest tab from the main project's XML. This seems to have fixed the problem, insofar as new stories are now created with an active html box.
Conclusion - we broke something when we changed the XML;would have liked - some errors from RTC when it tried to display the html box so that I knew that something was wrong in the XML, and preferably some diagnositics to point out what was wrong in the XML.
