Hello,

I just upgrade mine 2.0M2a to 2.0Beta1 with the following steps:

1. Extract 2.0Beta1 installation code
2. Run launchpad.exe under the rtc sub-folder, under the folder where the installation code is extracted to
3. Pick "Launch IBM Installation Manager to update existing product components" option from the Instllation menu
4. Pick "Udate" from the Installation Mananger menu
5. select the current RTC 2.0Mx package group to find updates for.
6. Installation Manager will automatically detect version 2.0 beta1, select it from the list, click next to complete the install.

I forgot the mention, you should follow the same steps to upgrade your Jazz team server as well. You will select the 2.0mx Jazz Team Server package group to find update for in step # 5.

Hello Susan,

maybe I am stupid, but I couldn't find the launchpad. I am working under linux. Anyway also the newly downloaded windows-server-zip doesn't contain the launchpad.exe.

Could you let me know which newly windows-server-zip you meant, that doesn't come with the launchpad.exe? the one I downloaded is RTC 2.0 Beta 1, standard edition, released on March 16.

Isn't the launchpad packaged with the Express and Express-C?

It depends which installer you used when you installed 2.0 M2D1. If you used one of the ZIP installs then there is no launchpad.

Hello,

I just tried downloaded 2.0 Beta 1, March 17, the Express edition to my d:\tmp folder, ran the RTC-Express-Full-2.0Beta1-Win-Web.exe file to extract the installation file and I can find the launchpad.exe under the following directory:

D:\tmp\RTC-Express-Full-I20090316-0438-Win-Web\rtc\launchpad.exe.
