Local Help Search for CLM does not find anything

I have CLM help locally installed
The URL is
https://localhost:9443/clmhelp/index.jsp
There is a Search field in the top left. The search always returns 'Nothing found' even though the topic is there when I browse.
The online help at http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0m4/index.jsp has the same search field but it works fine

Thanks Donald.
I just installed CLM 401 using the simple default standard configuration options for a local install.
I did not notice the help feature being installed particularly.
I can browse the contents but if I search for anything it says 'not found' even though the content is there.
Doing the same search on the IBM online help succeeds.
I will look at the configuration link you provided, thanks.

If you took the default installation option, then you are now accessing the help content remotely (hosted on ibm.com). It's quite easy to verify. On your CLM server, open a browser and put in the URL https://127.0.0.1:<port>/clmhelp/remote/remotehelp.jsp. In that page, you should an entry with the URL http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0m1. If you disable it, you will not be able to see any help content. If you want the content locally, follow the link the I provided earlier. Once done, you should be able to search within the local help content.

I installed CLM with all basic standard settings I think.
I did not choose any specific options for help. I don't think there are any help options during CLM basic installation.
When I am using RRC I click on the help link and it opens the URL
https://localhost:9443/clmhelp/index.jsp
Which is local help I think
The local help is browse-able and has all the content but the search field does not find anything.

Mar 05 '14, 12:31 a.m.Just to confirm, when you said the help system is locally installed, have you following the steps in this document?
https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/topic/com.ibm.help.common.rational.remote.web.doc/topics/t_configure_local_help.html
Also, when you first used the search function, did you notice the index being built (a progress bar should appear for one or two minutes)?
