Creating a Test RTC Jazz Server...
We would like to do some BIRT testing in RTC planning without interrupting production.
Ideally I would like to use all of our current data - i.e. take yesterdays backups of the DB and the data warehouse and start a Test server from there...
Is there documentation on doing this? I can't seem to find any.

Hi Lora,
Depending on the version of RTC you are running. If v4.0.1+, you can create a test environment with Production data. In these versions, you can take advantage of the server rename feature to rename public URL of the production data in your test environment. The link below is for CLM v4.0.5: http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0m5/index.jsp?re=1&topic=/com.ibm.jazz.install.doc/topics/t_prepare_sandbox_server_rename.html&scope=null The process in v.3.x will be different as the server rename feature is not available there. However, you can still achieve this by using the server's hosts file.
