Hi Ross,

You might like the My Stuff view that shows information about work items you're subscribed to: https://jazz.net/mystuff/#tab=workitems.

If you want to use the Dashboard, you can add the Work Items widget and configure it to use the Predefined Query "Open Subscribed by Me."  Note that you will need one widget per project area.

lauren,

thanks for your message............."My stuff" works well.........I also [finally] found the Work Items widget ........and ran the "open subscribed by me" query..........but it returned nothing.....now what am I doing wrong..........I think my issue may be that I am not a member of the relevant projects.

Hi Ross,

When you configured the widget, you had the option to select the project area the query would run in.  Have you confirmed you are subscribed to work items in that project area?

It doesn't seem like the query should require you to be a member but perhaps it does.

Ross,
Lauren's last comment is what always gets me.  I use the web client and pretty proficient at finding items with the "Search Work Items" in a adhoc manner.  However, it took me longer to get the right mental model around the various projects and even team servers.   I now have a set of 'cheat' widgets i use to get to the right project area for new queries, etc.

Let us know when you get it working and any best practices.

most of my enhancements are against RRC..........the widget only offers me RTC for project areas............how do I add RRC?

To add queries from the RRC project area...

  1. Click Add Widget
  2. In the Select Catalog box, pick Jazz03
  3. Add the Work Items widget
  4. When you configure the query in the widget, select Requirements Management in the Show Queries For box
