I am consistently receiving the error that some packages are missing from eclipse and it cannot continue until I download them. I have found other articles mentioning that these packages cannot be downloaded through eclipse, and this seems to be the case. I need the R362j7 patch to install to eclipse or some response as to how to extend an existing version of eclipse for 3.6.x

Please verify the version you have installed (the supported version is 3.6.2.3)
Open help about, hover over the little icons till you see eclipse.org pop up.
Click that button
Highlight the Eclipse platform line then copy the data from the box at the bottom.

Paste in the actual error message.
Can you paste the link to one of the articles you mentioned.
