Duplicate components

Mike Rolls (12631813) | asked Mar 04 '09, 6:31 a.m.
We have 2 components in Jazz with the same name, and one seems to be corrupt.
I cannot remove it and we think this might be causing some issues with the automated build.

When we try and create a repository work space, based on the stream that contains the component, we saw the duplicate entry.

You can rename these components or at least one of them, to reduce the confusion.
Go to Team Artifacts / Streams / your stream / your component. Right click and rename.

You can open the stream in the stream editor.
Team Artifacts / Streams / your stream. Open.
From there you can decide if your stream has the right component or if you want to remove it and add the appropriate one. Should be easier once you have renamed them.

Feel free to open a work item against Jazz Source Control with screenshots showing the stream editor. Maybe you are also running into permission issues?

Hope this helps,
Chrix
