Predecessor in other RTC Project AREA

Carson Holmes (11113543) | asked Nov 26 '13, 10:06 a.m.
Having a predecessor in another RTC project doesn't seem to affect the estimated start and end dates for the successor work item.  Am I doing something wrong, or is this not supported?

Carson, the predecessor/successor is only evaluated in a plan. It is also only considering work items that are in the scope of a plan. This Scope is the owner (and its children) and the iteration (and nested iterations) selected in the plan configuration.

Workitems outside of this scope (outplaced items) might be shown under certain circumstances (if they are a parent of an item in the plan) but are completely ignored by the scheduler. So the links are not considered across projects today.

There is limited support to see schedule across project boundaries, using cross project plans.
