How to add attachments from word doc using excel/word importer
I'm trying to add Image and absolute path with file extension.txt and .xls
in cfg file I added this line testplan.attachment=Table("Release").D1 Excel file has D1 cell with image and "C:\\test.txt" this didn't work for Word document, is there a way to attach files using word document? |

I believe support for the import of images is only specific to Excel not Word; I will do some additional investigation to verify but I believe there is an existing enhance request for this functionality to be added

Aparna, I tried with word exporter and dint see the exporter put the attachment into the testcase.
I see an alternate way of doing this, but it might seem a bit lengthy..!
a. Upload the attachments into RQM project area using RQM v4.0.3 URL utility
b. Then modify the Test Case to contain the attachment(s) uploaded in a.
Step b., can be done using REST API or manually as well
Let me know if this approach is good? I will include more specifics..
