RTC Permission Issue: Plans & Timeline save issues

I've been given Admin & Product Owner capabilities on a project, but when I attempt to save a Plan or add an iteration to a timeline, I get a message telling me I don't have the requisite permission.  Where do I go to get the permission?

Talk to a project administrator for your project: whoever gave you the "Admin & Product Owner" role. Sounds like that role(s) is not configured with the permissions you expect.
