Simulink models don't appear in Design Manager
Hello,
I'm trying to Import a model from Simulink to Design Manager using the Rhapsody Design Manager Import Engine.
I've created my import definition. Then I configured the Rhapsody Design Manager Import Engine.
The status of the import definition turned to Active so I'm sure that bit worked.
However, when I schedule an import, nothing happens.When I look at the scheduled activites list, my imports listed as pending, but here they stay.
No models appear in the Design manager, they never appear to leave the Pending Stage.
I've restarted the server, logged in and out, repeated the procedure etc etc.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Hello,
I finally found out what the problem was.
It was because I'm using Simulink 2013b and this version is not supported in Design Manager 4.x.x.
IBM technical support told me that version 5 of the Design Manager will support Simulink2013b. Otherwise my only option is to downgrade Simulink to an earlier version.
In case any rational developers read this, please warn users in future if they are not using correct versions of the software during the installation or running of the software. With the way it played out It looked as thought there was either a bug or I was doing something wrong.

We have installed a brand new RDM 404 but we still not able to import our data into design manager.
my question hereby adds more details to Ian's question.
Do we need to configure the import engine with OAuth to communicate with Design Manager? We got now a message stating that our OAuth credentials are incorrect.
Any help would be much appreaciated.

We don't have yet an 'Active Maintenance agreement' for the IBM applications since we are working on the trail licenses. We have requested a quotation to buy few licenses. So this will be possible soon.

Just to update, I raised a case with the support team and we went through it last week but no solution could be found.
We are using version 4.0.4 of the DM.
We have definitely installed the Simulink importer and we are using the Simulink domain within Simulink.
The IBM technical support person suggested that the connection between Jazz and DM was not properly made.
He didn't have the expertise to tell me how to do this, only that it should be done on the communications tab on the inside the JTS server configuration. What I need to do is set up Simulink as a consumer or friend of JTS.
Does anyone here know the procedure for setting up Simulink to Design Manager as a friend or consumer?

From looking at the documentation, it doesn't appear that you need to set up Simulink as a friend or consumer.
However, are the three prerequisites from https://jazz.net/help-dev/dm/topic/com.ibm.dm.rhp.simulink.doc/topics/c_rhp_dm_simulink_overview.html met?
- You added the Simulink extension.
- Design Management and Simulink are installed on the same computer.
- You followed step 8 of https://jazz.net/help-dev/dm/topic/com.ibm.dm.rhap.import.doc/topics/rcam_rhap_t_install_config_import_engine.html

Setting up a consumer was only a suggestion because I'm desperate. I was told this would work 'out of the box' and so I would expect to not have to do it.
I can confirm that the Simulink extension is added properly because I have the Design Manager options available in Simulink.
Design manager and Simulink are on the same computer. (Though that computer is a virtual machine; would that affect it?)
Finally, I have definitely added the folder as required by step 8.
So, what else might be causing OAuth errors?
