RTCz functions

Hi - I am unable to get much information about RTC for z as to what all it supports. Does anyone have link to any documentation which mentions the supported tasks/functions ?
It is mentioned that this version doesn't support functionalities specific to zOS - what all does that include ?

Sumit,

Think of RTCz 1.0.1 as simply RTC 1.0.1 Standard edition (with all of it's
supported capabilities) with a couple of additional supported server
platforms (z/OS and Linux on System z).
To facilitate these platforms, we repackaged the server side components
(e.g. server, build toolkit) as SMP/E installable packages for z/OS along
with providing instructions/documentation on how to install the components
on that platform.
Likewise, for Linux on System z, we provide the server and build toolkit
in zip format (vs. Installation manager) but include the Java for System z
instead of the x86 JVM with the distribution. This release also allows
using DB2 on z/OS and Websphere on z/OS as additional supported
middleware.

Although you could install RTCz 1.0.1 into RDz (Rational Developer for
System z) v7.5x and get some out of the box z/OS development capability
(e.g. using work items, process, build and the other collaborative
features), the SCM feature in RTCz 1.0.1 is not yet able to manage RDz
remote projects since those are non-standard Eclipse projects. We're
planning to enable this type of capability (along with many others) in a
future release.

Hope this helps,

Alex
