Looking for the best way to report the defects in 1.0.1...
Customer is looking to "validate" RTC for their use and to do so, they must fill out paperwork required by the corporation. One of the questions is... "What are the known defects for the release being considered?".
In looking at the team dashboard at... https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Rational%20Team%20Concert#action=com.ibm.team.dashboard.viewDashboard&team=Jazz%20Development&tab=_RmV08INBEd2umaRvwp6Irg
It would appear that the viewlet in the upper left would suggest that there are 8 Critical and/or Blocker defects. There is no way to export that viewlet to .csv, so I tried to create the query to mimic the results. What I came up with is a query with the following filters...
Work Item Type = Defect
Found in = 1.0.1 and 1.0.1.1M1 and Unknown
Severity = Critical and Blocker
Status is = (check the 'Unresolved' check box)
But the result set has 20 Rows and that leaves me wondering why my results differ from what the team uses.
Would you agree that my query is the way to go, or is there a reason why my extra 12 results should not be considered?
