Compare collections usage?

Sean F (1.3k252162) | asked Aug 15 '13, 12:35 p.m.
How does compare collections work?

I open the collection
I hit compare button
In the left drop down is a list of versions of this collection (including baselines)
the right dropdown is empty - no other collections, no older versions of this collection

This compares collections from different baselines (as well as the current version), so if both lists are empty, there are probably no project baselines.  Click "Select collection" on the right side if you want to compare to another collection.

actually, you have to click "Select collection" even if you are comparing 2 versions of the same collection.

Thanks Kirk.

I have created 1 project baseline called 'Baseline 01'.

The project has 2 collections defined 'Collection 01' and 'Collection 02'

When I open Collection 01 and run 'Compare' the list on the left has 2 entries 'current version' and 'Baseline 01'

The list on the right is empty.
