Ontology creation - How Rational Design Managers positions versus a tool like Protégé?

lionel mommeja (60168) | asked Aug 08 '13, 5:29 a.m.
Can I use RDM to create ontologies as Protégé is used for?
How do they compare?
Thanks,
Lionel

Hello Lionel,

Rational Software Architect Design Manager can be used to create Ontologies.

Here is more information on Creating Ontologies in the InfoCenter section called
Extending product function > Managing custom domains >
Creating ontologies

Lara thank you.
I am not an ontology expert, but watching the video, I believe I understand what I can do with Ontologies in RDM.
However I also wondered how RDM compares with other well known ontology editors such as Protégé?
