Port mandatory for a new connection to a repo in RRCv1.0?

Yanzhuang Li (31134126) | asked Dec 30 '08, 4:58 p.m.
The URL https://xxxx/jazz/ works fine in IE Browser. However, when trying to make a connection to a repo in RRC v1.0 client, the URL without port number is rejected (wrong format). It accept the URL of https://xxx:443/jazz, however. Could you please confirm that the port number is mandatory in the URL? Thanks.

Hello,
according to the On-Line Help available from the new connection wizard:

The Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) for an existing repository.
Typically, this is in the form of http://<server>:<port>/jazz

So I guess the port number is mandatory.

Eric.
