work item binding (of sorts)

I'm looking for a way to have a fixed text field (pre filled) or an attachment (file) as part of the work item type when I define it in the process config editor -- so it is part of the work item type thus avoiding the redundant step of forcing someone to perform that step for things that will remain fairly stable.

Possible new feature >> extend Types and Attributes to include a text object or an attachment object and make that a choice in the type dropdown OR separate it out and bind it to the work item type.
