WorkItem template cross project

I've the following RTC scenario

             cross project area 
                           |
                -------------------
                |                    |               
project area A      project area B 


On this scenario I've created the following workitems

             cross project task
                           |
                -------------------
                |                    |               
          story A           story B

I've create a workitem template from "cross project task" but, when I create a workitem from template, RTC create only a new task on cross project area but the links on this new task (tracks type) points to the old workitems.
Is there the possibility to create 3 new tasks on the 3 project areas?

I do not believe this is currently possible, because I believe that only "child" links are followed when creating the template (the other links are just treated like properties, resulting in the behavior you describe).  I have submitted work item In a work item template allow user to select links other than "child" to be part of the template (269180) requesting this capability.
