Without installing birt if we upload rpt design file on server, how jazz data source connection will create? or Is it necessary that Birt installation? I'd really appreciate for someone who can advice clearly on this.

Hi Pravin,

Birt reports design - will contain a data source connection -> For the report to work on your server, the data-source has to be redefined to point to your server.

So, you have to install birt, modify the report and then redeploy.
