Test Automation framework for BIRT reports

Hi,

We're customizing/creating BIRT reports, and I was wondering if there is any test framework for this. Is it possible to create unit tests for example?

As you know, some complex BIRT reports take time to test, having a automated test framework would be very helpful.

I will appreciate your help.
