How to disable SSL usage for RRDI?
As default, every time user attempts to view report, RRDI will generate warning message in regards to certificate.
Is there a way of disable SSL usage so that http:// can be used instead of https:// and warning in regards to certificate is not appeared? I searched jazz.net and infocenter, however could not find related information |

I'm suggesting you can disable WAS Administrative security in Configure Application Server Profile panel during RRDI setup, then WAS will not redirect HTTP to HTTPS.

I think the SSL port is not used by the report server by default, but need to be configured as in the steps documented here ==> http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.rational.rrdi.admin.doc%2Ftopics%2Ft_general_was_ssl.html
I did not find any doc that talks about how to disable SSL for the report server either, but the above infocenter link may give a good hint of what needs to be done. |
