Multiple TCERs

We are using RQM 4.0.1.  We create one TCER per test case in a test plan.  If a TCER fails, we create the defect. When the defect is fixed, we re-execute the same TCER (that means we will have two TC Results, one failed and one passed).  I would like to make it easier for the test engineers to know which TCER should be re-executed again. The TCER last result is failed. Is there some possible way in RQM to filter by defects fixed, so that the team members can query for the TCER they need to re-execute?

Hi,

depending on what your exact requirements are, you would like to check :
- the option for creating/designating a "blocking defect":
see http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0m1/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc%2Ftopics%2Ft_submit_blocking_defects.html  for more information    (with the possible automatic unblocking of the TCER once the defect is resolved)
- the option for exploiting the "Traceability view" from the TCERs list ("Execution" menu > "Browse TCERs"). Note that you could filter with additional parameters (e.g. the last test result status) and create a query based on this.

Regards,
Stéphane
