RTC client 4 compatible with RTC 3 server?

My question is if RTC client 4 compatible with RTC 3 server?
The reason why I am asking is because we use RPT and in order to upgrade to later version of RPT integrting with RTC, we have to use later RTC client. But our RTC server team is not ready to upgrade.

No it is not.  V3 client can be used with v4 server.
