What is the use of "Show links" and "Include archieved" option in Add condition while creating Query

While writing query if we add any condition we get different option like 1) show links and 2) Include archived so what are they for and use of it.

  1. Show links will show relationships that are not attribute based. For example parent child.
  2. Include Archived will include archived data - for example archived enumeration literals.
