I have an issue to configure de E-mail Setting

 Hi all;

I'm working with RC version 4.0.1, I set up the E-mail settings, but Appears the followings error when try to sned an e-mail notification:

"Could not connect to SMTP host: smtp.live.com, port: 25; nested exception is: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect"

Can someone help me with that?

In general the e-mail settings in the setup have to work in order to be able to send notification. As suggested below, please Fix your setup before you try to send notifications.

Hi Jorge,

I found this article that may help.  Perhaps port 25 has been blocked in your network.  The article has a work around.

I think the port for Windows Live \ Hotmail is 587
