Cannot add RQM Test Plan Approver if name not in first 500 users

When adding a test plan approver in RQM, I cannot select the person unless they are in the first 500 users (just guessing on the exact number, but it's a big number).  We have a very large group of users in our firm that use CLM tools (RTC and RQM), so they all appear in the list.  The people I want to add as Reviewers/Approvers are not in that first set of users.  When I find a person, I select them, and then click Add or Add and Close.  The first name in the list is selected and I cannot even scroll to the user I want.

We are using RQM 3.0.1 at the moment but plan to be on RQM 4.0.1 in the next few months.  The completely blocks our ability to add approvers and use the tool to manage test plan approval.

There was a fix done for this some time back.  I'll look at some of the work items and post link here.

Hmm. Everything I've found talks of backport changes into QM 2 (from 3).
We did encounter that we were unable to find users beyond a certain point even when filtering the user list, but we got a hot-fix for our then 2.0 QM application.

Richard,
The mechanism for choosing owner or assignee for various parts of QM do allow you to type characters to filter the list of possibilties.  In QM 2 we faced the issue that even filtering would not help.   Since that time we have upgraded to QM 3 and more recently QM 4.0.1 with 1000's of users.   Lots of other complaints about QM, but this particular item seems to be well understood.

I'd suggest you look at some of the screen shots on this work item:

This has started working - not sure the cause (probably user error and when I stopped doing things incorrectly it started working).
